I’ve been an XM subscriber for about a year and most of my listening has been to shhhhhhockjocks Opie & Anthony. Their shows are now available via audible.com, which offers the following advantages:

Absolute convenience – no need to set up scheduled records, and best of all…

Audible subscriptions are available as a podcast, so they automatically download to iTunes when ready.

Pause, rewind, and fast forward (obviously)

Anytime I need to mute the sound emanating from my computer, my hand hits the keyboard shortcut for pausing iTunes. Unless i’m listening to something in iTunes, this will launch iTunes and start playing something; the exact opposite of the desired effect. Now if I’m listening to O&A, it “does the right thing.”

I think these guys are worth the double-payment I’m currently paying. I’ll probably cancel XM at some point. Since AOL Radio has some XM channels, the only thing I’d be missing (not available anywhere else) is XM Comedy.
