• Ragdoll Blast – puzzle game where you blast ragdolls out of a cannon trying to hit a target, but there are obstacles in the way, such as walls, or sticks that need to be blasted out of the way.
• Tweetie is my favorite twitter app, but I’m checking out TweetDeck’s iPhone version. it has the concept of “columns” that you swipe left or right to get to, and the columns can be your timeline, DMs, mentions, or searches.
• iTrans NJT Straightforward train schedules for NJ Transit.
• Crosswords – Guess. Best interface and downloading of puzzles
• Now Playing – Movie times, with Netflix if you want it. Seems comprehensive but I use…
• iPhlix Netflix management. Multiple queues, and instead of loading a whole queue, it offers to load 25 at a time. Also lets you default to Search view for quick searching.
• MovieStar – Did you know there’s a IMDb app? I didn’t know until about a week ago. it’s not official but it’s pretty good.

If I order a #6, I shouldn’t have to explain anything except the size and contents of my coffee (not the existence of said coffee) plus . Same with Subways/Blimpies… some executive chef at Subway headquarters put together these menu items with a certain set of ingredients. When I order one, I am trusting their judgement, and the employee should trust mine that the sandwich is what I want. All the extra ingredients are right in front of me behind glass- I know they’re there and available to me if I want them!

On a more amusing note, DD had an employee whose name is both religious and patriotic: Jesusa

Earlier today I had discovered that my profile manager on my 8525 was setting the volume to 100% duringa phone calls. I changed this to “Leave unchanged” so that the volume is not affected when switching to this profile. Shortly after, I remarked to a former co-worker via IM:

Before the show started, there was this old dude standing behind me, and at 8:54 (at a 9pm show). He was yelling the following:
“If yer gonna bring him out, bring him out”
“Put the light on!” (repeatedly)
then he said “This is bullsheeeeeit” before walking away. I had started to inch away from him shortly before this, so I was glad to see him go.

Other than the foot and ear (and everything in between) pain afterwards, I really e njoyed it… here’s the set list (with notes for a few items):

I kinda wished his encore wasn’t an 11 minute song that I normally skip on my iPod. I also wasn’t too thrilled with a medley. I guess it’s the best way to go, but I would prefer to not get into a song and then be left wanting more.

I would definitely go again, though I would have to dress more appropriately (not as a Jedi or Michael Jackson… just better shoes and shorts). I’ve never really been to concerts before. I might just start.
