Me: #6….exactly as it is.
DD employee #2: any coffee?

If I order a #6, I shouldn’t have to explain anything except the size and contents of my coffee (not the existence of said coffee) plus . Same with Subways/Blimpies… some executive chef at Subway headquarters put together these menu items with a certain set of ingredients. When I order one, I am trusting their judgement, and the employee should trust mine that the sandwich is what I want. All the extra ingredients are right in front of me behind glass- I know they’re there and available to me if I want them!

On a more amusing note, DD had an employee whose name is both religious and patriotic: Jesusa

I changed this to “Leave unchanged” so that the volume is not affected when switching to this profile. Shortly after, I remarked to a former co-worker via IM:

The day before I embarked on another uncling voyage to Virginia, my dad told me Weird Al was going to be in Atlantic City (Showboat House of Blues) that night, so I got a ticket and went down to see him.

Before the show started, there was this old dude standing behind me, and at 8:54 (at a 9pm show). He was yelling the following:
“If yer gonna bring him out, bring him out”
“Put the light on!” (repeatedly)
then he said “This is bullsheeeeeit” before walking away. I had started to inch away from him shortly before this, so I was glad to see him go.

Other than the foot and ear (and everything in between) pain afterwards, I really e njoyed it… here’s the set list (with notes for a few items):

Polkarama!
Canadian Idiot
Close But No Cigar
Bob (video sync was a bit off)
Video: Jessica Simpson (Sampson) interview
It’s All About the Pentiums
Video: Mariah Carey/Celine Dion interview
Video: Crimes of Carelessness
You’re Pitiful (Al wore a hooded sweatshirt with several t-shirts underneath, parodying James Blunt’s undressing in his video)
Video: Madonna interview

Wanna B Ur Lovr
Video: Eminem interview

Medley:
Couch Potato
Do I Creep You Out? (never heard this one before)
In Love with a Skipper (Tour exclusive: re: GIlligan’s Island. parody of “In Love with a Stripper”)
Updated version of Headline News (re: Britney)
Confessions Pt III
A Complicated Song
eBay
Bedrock Anthem
Ode to a SuperHero
Pretty Fly for a Rabbi

Gump
Eat It

Video: Mick Jagger interview
Video: Sexiest Video Award presentation
Video: Keith Richards interview

I’ll Sue Ya (which I think is a style parody of Rage Against The Machine’s Bombtrack)

Video: Weird Al References in cartoons (King of the Hill, Simpsons…)
The Saga Begins [This is the song where you could hear the most audience singing. There were a few lighters in the air too]
Yoda [Al: You sing!..........now just the invertebrates! [participation dropped a bit]

Video: Lousy Haircut YouTube link
Video: Justin Timberlake interview
Video: Weasel Stomping Day

Smells Like Nirvana

Video: Michael Stipe/Avril Lavigne interview
Video: Simpsons appearance

Amish Paradise
Video: KFed interview
White & Nerdy
Video: (A sort-of mockumentary featuring brief unplugged versions of hits)

Fat

End….?

Encore:
We All Have Cel Phones
Albuquerque

I kinda wished his encore wasn’t an 11 minute song that I normally skip on my iPod. I also wasn’t too thrilled with a medley. I guess it’s the best way to go, but I would prefer to not get into a song and then be left wanting more.

I would definitely go again, though I would have to dress more appropriately (not as a Jedi or Michael Jackson… just better shoes and shorts). I’ve never really been to concerts before. I might just start.
